This is a very common question asked by beginner. You might be puzzling how do these website make money online. Well there are many ways you can earn from a website. I have listed some of them here for your reference.
1) Earn from Pay per click program
Google adsense is an example of pay per click program. You get paid everytime someone click on the ads when they visit your website. Besides Google adsense, there are many other pay per click program such as Bidvertiser.
2) Earn from selling advertisement space
May web owner sell a part of their website for advertiser to put banner to advertise their products or services. The price of these ads depends on the traffic and the popularity of the website.
3) Earn from selling products
They can be selling their own products or they can also earn commission from selling other people’s product (which is also called affiliate marketing). By far, affiliate marketing is my favourite.
4) Earn from referring leads to others
Another way to earn is to refer leads to other website. Some program pays you for every lead you send to their website even if they did not buy anything from that website. All it takes is for your readers to sign up for their free e-newsletter or download their free ebook.
